In the following, we would like to provide you with information on the processing of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in connection with your application

3.  Data categories and purpose of processing

We process the personal data you have provided us with in connection with your roleas a mentor for Manage&More.

In particular, the following personal data will be collected:

  Name (first and last name)
  E-Mail address
  Gender
  LinkedIn-Profile 
  Educational/professional Background


Personal data is information about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your name, address, telephone number and date of birth, but also data about your specific career, etc., which can be assigned to a specific person with reasonable effort. Information that is not (un)indirectly associated with your real identity, on the other hand, is not personal data. Only authorized employees of UnternehmerTUM involved in the application process have access to your data.


4. Recipients of your data

Your personal data will be shared with Manage&More scholarship holder. Furthermore,we have commissioned service providers to process your personal data. Your registration takes place via Airtable. E-mail communication takes place via outlook.



5.  Place of data processing

Your personal data is processed exclusively in data centres within the EU. We use the service provider Salesforce for this purpose. The operating company of Salesforce is Salesforce.com Germany GmbH, Erika-Mann-Str. 31, 80636 Munich, Germany.

6.  Legal basis

The processing is permitted to us either due to a contractual relationship with you (participation as a mentor), a consent granted by you based on Art. 6 I a) GDPR, a legal obligation or our overriding legitimate interests (e.g. functionality of the website). We are permitted to transfer data to third countries only either on the basis of an adequacy decision by the EU Commission, the conclusion of standard dataprotection clauses with the respective service providers or your consent.

7.  Storage period

The personal data submitted will be stored for the period that you are part of the Manage & More mentor program. After expiry of the period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted if it is no longer required for the fulfilment or initiation of the contract.


8.  AirTable

For your registration we use the service AirTable provided by:

AirTable processes the data provided by you in your registration. We have concluded a Data processing agreement with AirTable for the aforementioned purposes, in which we oblige AirTable to protect our mentorsdata and not to pass it on to third parties.

We have concluded a contract with AirTable in accordance with the EU's standard contractual clauses.

9.  Your  rights

When personal data is processed by us, you as the data subject have the following rights depending on
the legal basis and purpose of the processing:

  Right to information (Art.15 GDPR)
  Right to rectification (Art.16 GDPR)
  Right to erasure (Art.17 GDPR)
  Right to restriction of processing (Art.18 GDPR)
  Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

Ifyou believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable law you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, in particular in the country of your residence or workplace or the place of the alleged violation.

If the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke this consent under data protection law. Please contact our data protection officer to assert your data subject rights with regard to the data processed in this onlineapplication procedure.


10.  Final provisions

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to reflect changes to the application process or similar.
